While Lowden was eating dinner tonight, he said:
Lowden: Mom, you are one of the best cooks I know. (I am lucky he doesn't know many cooks.)
Mom: Thanks Lowden!
Lowden: No Offense to Dad...but you are a better cook by one billion.
Mom: I love you!

The Happenings of Mr. B
Being the amazing mother that I am, I am posting a picture from Bennett's first day of preschool (that was TWO months ago!)
He absolutely loves going to school! He has the same teacher Lauren had and she is really great! He has made lots of friends and it learning some more social skills. He is working on writing his name more clearly. It is all great practice for next fall when he starts Kindergarten.
Now fast forward to now...Bennett insisted I write down his wish list for Santa the other day. I like a child who plans ahead. I think he gets that from me! And here it is:

Trick or Treat!
On Halloween, we met up with a few friends from church and set off. The weather was absolutely perfect!
Whitney McFarlane (Tinkerbell), Bennett (Buzz Lightyear) and Liam (Bumble Bee) set off together....I love how ethereal this picture looks.

Final Products
Bennett made the face he wanted on his pumpkin with his own face. Daddy carved it exactly right!
Lowden's "Worm Face" pumpkin.
Parker's skeleton pumpkin which mom helped him carve. He was impressed with the way it turned out.
Lauren's spider web that dad helped her carve. She loved it!
