We were all very happy to have Grandpa Bob and Grandma Mindy come to town for a couple days.
We all attended Parker's basketball game in the afternoon. It was Parker's last game of the season so it was extra special to have grandpa and grandma there.
One of the traditions my dad has when he comes to visit is "the coin drop". At home, whenever my dad gets spare change, he puts it in a jar. So, when he comes to visit he brings all the change he's saved up to share with the kids. The process goes like this. He dumps all the change in the center of the floor. Then, Bennett gets a handicap of one minute to grab as much as he can get. Then the other kids can grab away. They, of course, love this tradition.
I think Bennett ended up with about $60 total. And yet he really has no concept of this. Just happy to have a red box filled with coins!
Grandpa took us all out to eat dinner for Parker and Bennett's birthdays. We decided on Mucho Gusto since Red Robin was packed. (Always seems to be packed on weekends when the college year is in session.) But we love Mucho Gusto so it was great!
We sure love grandpa and grandma! Can't wait for their next visit!

Wow! That coin drop game looks fun. I wish someone would play it with me :) Grandparents are great!
What a fun visit from your dad! I feel like your mom visits often, and so I kindof know her because of that, so it was so fun to see your dad and his wife and get a taste of a fun visit from them as well.
My kids would love that coin drop game! My dad has (On a couple birthdays) has let the birthday kid do a coin grab from a bag of quarters from his car wash. It's amazing what their little hands can grab! :)
I really enjoyed seeing the pictures of Uncle Bob! It's been so long since I've seen him!
